WOMEN-CENTERED CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

Art Club

Our signature workshop series for women who want to slow down, try something creative, and share a table with familiar and new faces. Each gathering is thoughtfully planned, gently guided, and designed to feel meaningful—without expecting anyone to be an artist.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The project is only half the point.

The project gives your hands something to do while conversation unfolds around the table. The rest is time to slow down, try something new, and spend an evening with good people.

  • A warm, welcoming place to settle in
  • Thoughtfully chosen creative projects
  • Materials and guidance to help you begin
  • Room to experiment without pressure
  • Conversation that happens naturally
  • No requirement to call yourself an artist

You don’t have to call yourself creative. You just have to be curious enough to begin.

Come alone. Leave knowing people.

Some people arrive with friends. Plenty fly solo. Some have been making things for years, and others are pretty sure they missed the creativity gene entirely.

There’s room at the table either way.

New here? Perfect.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Many people do. The project gives everyone an easy place to begin, and conversation tends to follow.

Do I need art experience?

Not at all. You’ll get enough guidance to start, with plenty of room to do things your own way.

What should I bring?

Each event page will tell you what is included and whether you need to bring anything. Most of the time, you can simply show up.

The story behind the door

Open Door grew from a simple belief: people need more chances to gather, make things, and spend unhurried time together.

What began with women-centered Art Club workshops has grown into a larger creative home with more than one way to participate.

Art is the medium. Human connection is the outcome.
