Print + Paste: Beginner’s Block Printing & Collage - New Member

Dive into the rich, layered world of printmaking with this creative, community-centered workshop. We’ll begin by building a collaborative print collage, combining our mini hand-carved linoleum blocks to spark inspiration and warm up our visual instincts. Then, you’ll learn the expressive technique of chine-collé, a process that fuses delicate papers into your block prints to create depth, contrast, and unexpected beauty.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
• Contribute to a shared print collage that encourages play and creative exchange
• Carve a linoleum relief blocks for printing
• How to use tissue paper with a linoleum block print for chine-collé
• Experiment with color, texture, and composition to create dynamic mixed-media prints

No printmaking experience is required. All materials are provided, and beginners are warmly welcomed.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a series of unique chine-collé prints and a deeper understanding of how collaboration, layering, and experimentation can transform your creative process.
