SEPTEMBER: Bilateral Drawings & Mirror Cutouts

Wake up both sides of your brain and let your hands lead the way! In this playful visual journaling class, we’ll explore bilateral drawing and mirror cut-outs to loosen up and engage our attention in new ways. You’ll experiment with using both hands, mirroring shapes and movements, and creating with symmetry and reflection—all without worrying about making a “perfect” drawing. 

We’ll also explore the joy of creative collaboration through partner drawings, where each person responds to and reflects the other’s marks, turning drawing into a visual conversation. Expect to go home knowing how to play with positive and negative space, repetition, and unexpected compositions. No drawing experience is needed—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to play!
