Explore a tactile, meditative art practice that blends texture, storytelling, and personal reflection. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to create paper weavings directly in their journals—transforming simple materials into rich, symbolic artworks.
Through guided instruction, you’ll discover how to:
• Cut, weave, and layer paper to build dynamic patterns and textures
• Incorporate meaningful elements such as written memories, personal mantras, magazine photos, or symbolic colors
• Use weaving as a metaphor for identity, healing, and the interconnected parts of your life
• Integrate your finished weaving seamlessly into your visual journal pages
This workshop emphasizes intention, mindfulness, and creative exploration. No previous art experience is needed—just a willingness to slow down and engage with the materials.
You’ll leave with a beautifully woven journal piece that holds your stories, memories, and affirmations—an expressive reminder of the many threads that make you who you are.
